Jessica Lee is the DeKalb County Collector and Treasurer. She was first elected in 2016 and is now serving her third term. The DeKalb County Collector's Office handles all current and delinquent property tax collections for the county and its political subdivisions. Tax bills are mailed in November. DeKalb County Assessment and Tax Rates

The DeKalb County Assessor determines market values for all property as of January 1. Residential real estate is assessed at 19% of market value per RSMo 137.115. Agricultural land gets a 12% rate.
